Uzbekistan resumes gas supplies to Tajikistan

Uzbekistan resumed gas supplies to neighboring Tajikistan from 16 April 2012, the press-service of Uzbekneftegaz national holding company said.
The statement said that Uztransgaz joint stock company and Tajiktransgaz open joint stock company signed an agreement on 11 April 2012.
From 16 April 2012, Uzbekistan resumed natural gas supplies to Tajikistan, the statement reads.
As earlier reported, Uztransgaz joint stock company halted natural gas supplies to Tajikistan from 1 April after it fully implemented its liabilities on signed contract.
