Uzbekistan Represented at WCO Seminar in Brussels

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Jamshid Kodirov, a representative of the Customs Committee of Uzbekistan, is participating in a World Customs Organization (WCO) seminar on the pre-accreditation of technical operational advisors for Authorized Economic Operators (AEOs), held in Brussels from 2 to 6 February 2026.

According to Dunyo, the event is organized under the WCO European program and is aimed at training experts and customs officials for the pre-accreditation process, which serves as the first mandatory stage for international specialists.

The seminar program combines theoretical lessons with practical exercises, including testing professional knowledge in AEO standards, developing analytical skills, preparing recommendations and presentations, simulating international WCO missions, and assessing participants’ readiness to implement projects on behalf of the organization and enhance the capacity of member countries.

The seminar is designed to ensure the effective application of international standards and methodologies in customs work, raise the professional level of specialists, and strengthen the integration of member countries into global supply chains.
