Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As of 23:30 on 8 July 2020, the number of registered coronavirus infections in Uzbekistan reached 11092 (+110 from 17:30).

During the day, COVID-19 was confirmed in 422 people, which became a new record for the country.

All 110 new cases were identified among citizens in the quarantine center (all came from abroad).

Today 158 patients were treated in medical institutions in Tashkent, 49 in Samarkand region, 20 in Navoi region, 14 in Surkhandarya region, 8 in Bukhara region, a total of 249 patients.

7060 people with coronavirus infection (63%) recovered, 3987 patients continue treatment.
