Uzbekistan receives US$3.1 billion worth of transfers in January-April.

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In January-April 2023, Uzbekistan received money transfers in the amount of US$3.1 billion, according to a report from the Central Bank.

The growth compared to the same period in 2022 amounted to 20.8%, the regulator notes.

The Central Bank notes that in January-April, the population purchased foreign currency in banks in the amount of US$2.8 billion and sold it to banks - US$3.3 billion.
