Uzbekistan receives first batch of Johnson & Johnson vaccine against COVID-19

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Under the COVAX mechanism, Uzbekistan received the first batch of 419,950 doses of Johnson & Johnson vaccines against COVID-19. 

This is a donation from the Government of Canada - 471,600 doses and a supply from the funds of the COVAX mechanism - 583,600 doses. This was reported by the UNICEF office in Uzbekistan.

To date, UNICEF has delivered a total of 21.4 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines to Uzbekistan through the COVAX system.
