Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A new batch of ZF-UZ-VAC2001 coronavirus vaccine was delivered to Uzbekistan on 19 May. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan.
According to the ministry, 500,000 doses of the ZF-UZ-VAC2001 vaccine were delivered from China.
As reported, on 18 May, Uzbekistan received one million doses of the vaccine.
In March-April 2021, Uzbekistan received two batches of ZF-UZ-VAC2001 vaccine, 1 million doses each.
ZF-UZ-VAC2001 is a recombinant vaccine developed by scientists from the Institute of Microbiology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and manufactured by the pharmaceutical company Anhui Zhifei Longcom Biopharmaceutical. Clinical trials of the vaccine were carried out in collaboration with scientists from Uzbekistan.
