Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – Today, 200,000 Sputnik Light vaccines were delivered from Russia to Uzbekistan. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Higher Education of Uzbekistan.
Sputnik Light vaccine is a one-component vaccine against COVID-19, developed by the Russian National Research Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology. N.F.Gamalei. It is a lightweight version of the Sputnik V vaccine (in fact, only its first component), which does not require a second dose of the drug.
Earlier, Uzbekistan received 7,500 doses of this vaccine.
In total, Uzbekistan received more than 48.04 million doses of various vaccines against coronavirus. Of them:
- Sputnik V - 1.3 million;
- AstraZeneca - 2.4 million;
- ZF-UZ-VAC2001 - 36.79 million;
- Moderna - 3 million doses;
- Pfizer / BioNTech - 2.3 million doses;
- Sputnik Light - 2.07 million doses;
- Sinovac - 1.976 million doses.
To date, more than 35.61 million doses of coronavirus vaccines have been used.
