Uzbekistan Ready for Closer Cooperation with Austrian Businesses

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 3 December, Uzbekistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bakhtiyor Saidov, met with Angelika Seri-Froshauer, Head of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber.

During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for deepening economic cooperation. Minister Saidov emphasized that the large-scale reforms underway in Uzbekistan are creating favorable conditions for engagement with foreign companies and promoting mutually beneficial partnerships across all promising sectors of the economy.

He also highlighted Uzbekistan’s readiness to facilitate closer contacts between business communities of the two countries and stressed the importance of advancing joint projects and experience-sharing between Uzbek and Austrian enterprises.
