The document was adopted in Baku (Azerbaijan) on 26 November 2015.

The ratified Charter of the Islamic Organization will contribute to further development of international cooperation in the fields of education, science and culture. In addition, this will allow widely to promote the achievements of Uzbekistan in the cultural and humanitarian sphere and others.

After the entry into force of this Charter, the Tashkent Islamic University will organize the work of the Special Chair of the Islamic Organization.
