Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Ferghana region of Uzbekistan provided humanitarian assistance to Batken region - medical equipment worth 6 million 300 thousand soms. They include protective equipment and diagnostic laboratory equipment.

The event was held on the basis of negotiations between the plenipotentiary representative of the government in Batken region Alisher Abdrakhmanov and the head of Ferghana region of Uzbekistan Shukhrat Ganiev.

The leadership of Batken region expresses its deep gratitude to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the leadership of Ferghana region, the entire Uzbek people for their assistance in a difficult situation.

Earlier, the heads of two regions provided a number of bilateral services for the means of protection, food products needed to combat coronavirus disease.
