Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – Uzbekistan handed over 20 modern Volkswagen Caddy ambulances to Turkmenistan in honor of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, which is being celebrated today.

In turn, Turkmenistan, in accordance with the Order of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, delivered a batch of liquefied gas to Uzbekistan free of charge.

An exchange of friendly assistance took place today at the Shavot border customs post, which connects the Khorezm region with the Dashoguz velayat of Turkmenistan, UzA reports.

The diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan were established on February 7, 1993.
