Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Prevention inspectors can receive portable breathalyzers. This is proposed in a draft government decree that has been put up for public discussion.

The document notes that the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan will develop and approve the procedure for the use of breathalyzers, the rights and obligations of citizens and prevention inspectors.

Measures will also be taken for the phased purchase of breathalyzers through a tender until the end of 2024.

Prevention inspectors will undergo training to improve their skills in working with breathalyzers.
