The enterprises of Uzbekistan increased production of butter (+60.6% in January-May 2012), macaroni products (56.7%), tinned fruits and vegetables (51.1%), milk and dairy products (50.9%), edible oils (+19.3%), bread and bread products (+20.3%), mineral waters (+17.3%), margarine products (+5.9%), laundry soaps (+5.3%), cooking salt (+4.8%), flour (+4.1%) and ice-cream (+1.3%).
Compared to previous years, the enterprises also increased production of alcohol products such as edible alcohol (+9.5%), grape wine (+5.9%), vodka and alcoholic beverage (4.2%), the committee said.
