Uzbekistan produces construction materials for 3.9bn soums in 2013

The information service of the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan said that the share of the industry in total industrial production made up 6.4%.

Large industrial enterprises of Uzbekistan increased production of such materials as soft roofing materials and insulation - 1.7 times, dry construction mixes - 1.5 times, sandwich panels - 1.4 times, ceramic plates for internal wall facing - 1.3 times, gypsum - 1.3 times, prefabricated concrete structures - by 5.8%, and cement - 3.1%.

Uzbekistan also recorded growth of mounting foam - 2.8 times, rubble - 1.7 times, gravel - 1.4 times, asphalt - 1.4 times, kaolin (enriched) – 1.4 times, ready-mixed concrete - 1.3 times, limestone - 1.3 times, and gypsum stone - 1.2 times.
