Uzbekistan produces construction materials for 2.107 trln. soums

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Enterprises of construction materials industry of Uzbekistan produced goods for 2.107 trillion soums in the first seven months of 2013, which rose by 9.9% year-on-year, the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan said.

Uzbekistan increased production of soft roofing and insulation materials (+7.8 times year-on-year), aluminum composite panel (+4.3 times), sandwich panels (+44.4%), dry construction mixtures (+41.8%), ceramic plates for internal wall decoration (+35.6%), precast concrete construction (+3%), and cement (+2.4%).

The enterprises also increased production of crushed stone (+2.3 times), gravel (+2.1 times), ready-mixed concrete (+2 times), kaolin (+61.8%), gypsum (+52.4%), limestone (+26.8%), and asphalt (+23.2%).

In the reporting period, share of the industry in total industrial output of Uzbekistan made up 6.3%.
