Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In January-June 2021, Uzbekistan produced 5,700 tonnes of honey, which is 1.5% more compared to the same period in 2020. This was reported by the press service of the State Statistics Committee.

Dekhkan (personal subsidiary) farms in the reporting period produced 5,000 tonnes of honey, which is 88% of the total production.

The largest share in the total volume of honey received in the Republic fell on Jizzakh region (15.6%), also high rates were observed in Ferghana region (14.9%) and Bukhara region (14.8%). At the same time, the lowest share was recorded in Syrdarya region (2.4%).
