Uzbekistan produces 2.04 million tons of meat

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In January-September 2023, 2.04 million tons of meat (in live weight) were produced in Uzbekistan, according to preliminary data from the Statistics Agency.

This figure was 3.5% higher compared to the corresponding period in 2022.

A significant share of the total volume of meat belongs to Kashkadarya region (11.5%).

At the same time, high rates of meat production were noted in Samarkand (11.3%), Tashkent (10.9%) and Bukhara (10.2%) regions.
