Uzbekistan produces 1.19 million tons of meat in January-June 2021

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In January-June 2021, farms of all categories produced 1.19million tonnes of meat (in live weight) (4.4% more than in January-June 2020).

The largest volume of meat production among the categories of farms was noted in dekhkan (personal subsidiary) farms – 1.1 million tons, or 92.5% of the total production.

During this period, compared with 2020, there was an increase in farms by 3.8%, dehkan (personal subsidiary) farms - by 4.3%, organizations engaged in agricultural activities - by 10.3%.

The largest share in the total volume of meat production fell on Tashkent region (12.3%). At the same time, the lowest share was observed in Syrdarya region (2.8%).
