Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — From 20 to 23 October 2025, the 59th session of the Interstate Council on Antimonopoly Policy (ICAP) of CIS countries and the 45th session of the Joint Investigation Task Force on Antimonopoly Law Violations took place in Brest.

A delegation from Uzbekistan, led by Khalilillo Turakhujaev, Chairman of the Committee for Competition Development and Consumer Protection, participated in the events.

On 22 October, during the ICAP session, Khalilillo Turakhujaev delivered a report presenting key reforms in Uzbekistan regarding competition development and consumer protection.

He provided a detailed overview of recent innovations and legislative changes aimed at strengthening the competitive environment and enhancing the effectiveness of antimonopoly regulation.

The meetings served as an important platform for strengthening cooperation among CIS countries in competition policy, exchanging experiences and best practices, and identifying promising areas for joint work.

The event also allowed participants to discuss current issues in antimonopoly regulation and develop specific recommendations for further advancing regional collaboration.
