Uzbekistan, Poland set visa-free regime for holders of diplomatic passports
The Polish delegation was headed by Deputy Foreign Minister Conrad Pavlik, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said.
During the meeting it was stressed that the fruitful intergovernmental cooperation is based on solid legal foundation, which today has about 50 bilateral documents in political, trade-economic, cultural-humanitarian and other spheres as well as on created joint mechanisms for cooperation.
The sides expressed readiness to further support mutually beneficial contacts in various areas, including contacts between the business circles of Uzbekistan and Poland, exchange of visits of business delegations, holding forums and presentations of investment potentials of the two countries.
During the consultations other issues of Uzbek-Polish agenda were also discussed.
After the meeting a ceremony of signing of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Government of the Republic of Poland on the visa-free regime for holders of diplomatic passports was held.
