Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - On 16 March 2021, in Warsaw, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Sherzod Asadov met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland Zbigniew Rau.

The meeting discussed topical issues of Uzbek-Polish relations in political, trade, economic, investment, cultural, humanitarian and other areas.

The sides noted with satisfaction the fruitful results of the 8th round of political consultations between the foreign ministries of the two countries and stressed the need to continue the practice of holding this event.

An exchange of views took place on the schedule of upcoming joint events at various levels and formats.

Special attention was paid to the issues of deepening interaction within the framework of international and regional structures.

Other issues of mutual interest were also considered during the talks.
