Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan plans to open 370 stationary as well as mobile polling stations and points in foreign countries in preparation for the presidential elections. This was announced at an event at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The presidential elections in Uzbekistan will be held on October 24, 2021.
In preparation for the presidential elections, it is planned to create 54 polling stations in 38 states at the embassies and consular offices of Uzbekistan, as well as 316 additional mobile polling stations in 128 cities, including in 11 states where there are no diplomatic missions of Uzbekistan.
In order to conduct presidential elections abroad at a high level, the embassies and consular offices of Uzbekistan regularly hold meetings and negotiations with the heads of local authorities, diaspora organizations and enterprises that employ a large number of Uzbek specialists.
