Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – Uzbekistan plans to introduce a procedure for issuing electronic sanctions (permits) to carry out certain procedural actions in criminal cases.
Uzbekistan has published for public discussion a draft State program for 2024, focused on supporting youth and business development.
According to the draft program, it is planned to issue permission to listen to conversations conducted through telephones and other telecommunication devices, conduct searches, and intercept postal and telegraphic items in electronic form.
At the same time, electronic sanctions will not be applied in cases related to state secrets and other information protected by law.
This proposal was made by the Prosecutor General's Office, the Supreme Court, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Justice of Uzbekistan.
