Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan plans to announce two tenders for the construction of solar power plants by the end of 2021. This was reported by ReNews with reference to the Minister of Energy of Uzbekistan Alisher Sultanov.

During a speech at the Uzbek-German business forum, Alisher Sultanov noted that Uzbekistan will announce three tenders - for the construction of a power transmission line (400 km) and for the construction of two photos of power plants with a capacity of 400 MW.

At the same time, he noted that Uzbekistan intends to announce tenders in 2022 for the construction of facilities for generating 200 MW of electricity.

The Energy Minister called on German companies to take part in these tenders.
