Senate of Oliy Majlis published a draft resolution on ordering organization of weddings, family events, mortuary rituals and other events.

The document said excessive expenses for family events negatively impact to financial state of family and life of people. It also results in conflicts of families and divorces, the document said.

The draft resolution offers to approve regulation on holding family events. It proposes to hold weddings and other events from 10:00 to 23:00 and hold pilaf from 12:00 to 15:00.

The document also offers to limit number of guests – for weddings and other events – 150 people and pilaf – 200 guests. There will be no limits for mortuary rituals, except pilafs.

The document said that number of cars, used in weddings, will not exceed two. At the same time, only licenced companies can provide such services. Number of singers or groups at the weddings limited to one.
