Uzbekistan participates at FOODEX 2013

The delegation of Uzbekistan presented various bee products such as honey, beeswax, propolis, ambrosia, pollen, royal jelly, etc. During the event, the Uzbek delegation held negotiations and meetings with Japanese companies to discuss expansion of mutual beneficial cooperation.

President of Japan’s Kawaguchi Trading Co. Ltd. Ken Ito said that natural products of Uzbekistan, presented at the exhibition, attracts interest of Japanese and foreign companies with their taste. He said that he wants to visit Uzbekistan to familiarize with beekeeping industry and establish partnership ties.

Director of international trade fairs departments of JETRO Takashi Tsunemi said that participation of the Uzbek delegation at FOODEX 2013 provides good opportunity for Japanese businesses to familiarize with Uzbek products. He said that bee products are high quality and highly demanded in Eastern Asia.
