Uzbekistan Parliamentary Delegation Led by Senate Chair Arrives in Belarus

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 2 September, a parliamentary delegation of Uzbekistan, led by the Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Tanzila Narbayeva, arrived in Vitebsk, Belarus, for an official visit.

The visit program includes a meeting between Senate Chair Tanzila Narbayeva and Natalia Kochanova, Chairperson of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus.

As part of the visit, a series of significant events are scheduled, including the first session of the Commission on Cooperation between the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan and the Council of the Republic of Belarus, as well as the plenary session of the Third Women Entrepreneurs’ Business Forum of the two countries, themed “Uzbekistan – Belarus: Cooperation as a Factor of Sustainable Development.”

The business forum will feature seven thematic sections discussing industrial development, socio-economic cooperation, strengthening partnerships between local representative bodies, and expanding youth collaboration.

A key highlight of the visit will be the national exhibition “Made in Uzbekistan” held in Vitebsk, where over 70 women entrepreneurs will present products and services in the fields of food, pharmaceuticals, light industry, tourism, handicrafts, and electronics.
