Uzbekistan Opens First Official Trade House and Showroom in Germany

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In Berlin, with the support of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, the Uzbek Embassy in Germany, and on the initiative of German entrepreneurs, the first trade house and showroom “UZ Trade House Germany” was officially opened, showcasing products from Uzbek manufacturers.

The trade house serves as the official representation of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan in Germany.

Located in a prestigious area near the Brandenburg Gate, within the renowned Adlon hotel, the showroom continuously displays export-oriented goods from Uzbekistan in textiles, agriculture, food processing, electrical engineering, and other sectors.

The opening ceremony on 2 December was attended by representatives of German official and business circles, as well as members of the Uzbek diaspora, highlighting Uzbekistan’s trade, economic, and tourism potential.

Participants included the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Germany D. Akhatov, the Head of the German Federal Association of Small and Medium Enterprises A. Jan, Bundestag Committee on Economic Affairs and Energy member S. Ludwig, and the Head of UZ Trade House Germany J. Bakos.

Uzbek companies can now collaborate with the trade house to export products to Germany and other German-speaking countries, as well as attract foreign investment and modern technologies. According to Director J. Bakos, “UZ Trade House Germany” acts as a bridge between Uzbek and German companies, promoting goods under the Made in Uzbekistan brand and strengthening bilateral business cooperation.
