Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- First Deputy Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade Laziz Kudratov held talks with Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the European Parliament David McAllister.

During the meeting, the current state of trade, economic, investment, financial and technical cooperation and interaction in the cultural and humanitarian sphere were discussed.

In particular, the issues of accelerating the signing of the Enhanced Partnership and Cooperation Agreement (EPCA), the accession of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the World Trade Organization (WTO) and further deepening partnerships within the framework of the use of the European Union's Generalized System of Preferences "GSP+" were considered.

Along with this, issues of organizing the 5th meeting of the Working Group on Uzbekistan's accession to the WTO were discussed.
