Now Uzbekistan and India are discussing this proposal. At the same time, India intends to supply defense equipment to Uzbekistan.

The edition wrote that the State Minister for Foreign Affairs of India Mobashar Javed Akbar discussed issues of cooperation in the field of defense with the leadership of Uzbekistan. The parties also intend to cooperate in training the military.

The Economic Times emphasized that the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will visit India in autumn. The countries plan to raise bilateral relations to strategic one.
