Uzbekistan not to accept official documents of Kosovo, confirmed with apostille

The statement said that Kosovo joined the Convention, which abolishes requirements to legalize foreign official documents (Hague, 5 October 1961).

Uzbekistan notified the depository – Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands on inapplicability of the provisions of the Convention between Uzbekistan and Kosovo.

“The mechanism is stipulated by article 12 of the Convention. In this regard, documents of the Kosovo authorities, certified with special stamp (apostille), will not be accepted in Uzbekistan”, Uzbek Foreign Ministry said.
