The budget expenditures for 2023 for science, education and healthcare were discussed. Members of the Committee gave appropriate recommendations to the heads of ministries and departments.

In addition, the meeting discussed the implementation of the "Roadmap" for the implementation of the Law "On transplantation of human organs and tissues." The report of responsible officials of the Cabinet of Ministers and representatives of the Ministry of Health on the implementation of the Roadmap was heard.

In turn, the senators criticized the untimely implementation of certain tasks outlined in the Roadmap. In particular, they noted that a regulatory legal act on the establishment of a procedure for transplantation of human organs and tissues has not yet been approved.
