Uzbekistan loses to Iran in friendly match
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Uzbekistan national football team suffered a 1-0 loss at the hand of Iran in a friendly match on Thursday.
The match between two teams was held at Bunyodkor Stadium in Tashkent on 11 June. The only goal of the match was scored on 4 added minute to the second time. Mehdi Turobi netted the goal.
Uzbekistan is currently holding preparation to the second round of 2018 FIFA World Cup 2018. Uzbekistan will play against North Korea in Pyongyang on 16 June in the first match of the tournament.
