Uzbekistan, Lithuania hold inter-ministerial consultations

On 15-16 September 2016, Vilnius hosted the inter-ministerial consultations on the inventory of the contractual-legal base of relations between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Lithuania. The consultations were held at the level of Ministries of Foreign Affairs.
The delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania was headed by the Acting Director the Law and International Treaties Department Ridas Petkus.
The sides discussed the current state of bilateral relations in the context of the legal base of cooperation between the two countries and exchanged views on pending draft documents aimed at further development of Uzbek-Lithuanian relations in different spheres, the Uzbek Foreign Ministry said.
During the talks, the delegation also shared information on the functioning of the legal services of the foreign ministries of the two countries.
