Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Preschool education is the starting point of the continuous education system, the purpose of which is to form a healthy and comprehensively developed person from a child, to reveal the abilities of children, to foster a desire to learn.

In order to ensure favorable conditions for the education, upbringing, correction and social adaptation of children with disabilities, state multidisciplinary specialized preschool educational organizations have been created, new types of specialized preschool educational organizations have been introduced (preschool educational organizations of a combined type and multidisciplinary specialized preschool educational organizations with rehabilitation centers).

Since 2017, the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan has been paying special attention to children with special educational needs to unlock their potential and social integration into the modern community, the principles of inclusive education are being gradually implemented.

“When working with children with disabilities, it is important to have not only knowledge, skills and experience, but also to be able to “feel” them. In my work, I "feel in my heart the peculiarity and uniqueness of the development of each of them" and call on each member of society to do the same", said the director of the state multidisciplinary specialized preschool educational organization No. 560 of the city of Tashkent D. The study of the activities of specialized preschool educational organizations showed that in many cases, correctional, pedagogical and rehabilitation assistance was not carried out in full and did not meet modern requirements. One of the main reasons was the outdated material and technical base and the lack of the necessary equipment.

According to U. T. Mukhiddinova, Head of the Department for Health Provision, Organization of Healthy Nutrition and Coordination of the Activities of Specialized Preschool Educational Organizations of the Ministry of Preschool Education said as you know, if a child of preschool age has certain developmental disorders, parents have to additionally organize a visit to rehabilitation activities in hospitals or rehabilitation centers. However, it is most effective if the child receives help in one institution, where correctional, pedagogical and rehabilitation assistance is provided in a complex.

To ensure the quality of the activities of specialized preschool educational organizations, to provide comprehensive assistance, the implementation of the Program for equipping the kindergartens, initiated by the Ministry of Preschool Education and financed from the Fund for the Development of Preschool Education, begins. Within the framework of it, at stage 1, 17 multidisciplinary specialized preschool educational organizations in the city of Tashkent will receive modern equipment, didactic materials, special toys and other accessories that will make correctional pedagogical and rehabilitation procedures as effective as possible.

On 18 March 2021, the Ministry of Preschool Education carried out the transfer of special equipment, including:

- orthopedic walking simulators for the development of walking skills in children with conditions such as cerebral palsy, other neurological pathologies, damage to the musculoskeletal system. The possibility of teaching and developing walking skills, the maximum use of modern opportunities and this equipment will open up new perspectives in the lives of these children;

- dry pools filled with colored balls, which help children to relax, while the balls perform a massaging effect, which contributes to the development of tactile sensitivity, and in the future general motor skills, the level of psycho-emotional stress decreases;

- massage rugs, gymnastic mats, which are used for hypertonicity and hyperkinesis in a child, help him relax his muscles, he learns to make arbitrary movements;

- business boards designed for the development of fine motor skills in children with various developmental disorders (motor, mental and speech).

At the next stages, it is planned to attract additional funds to equip state multidisciplinary specialized preschool educational organizations in the city of Tashkent and equip state multidisciplinary specialized preschool educational organizations in all regions of the republic with the necessary equipment. In total, it is expected that 70 specialized preschool educational organizations across the country will receive support in the form of modern equipment by the end of the year.
