Uzbekistan Launches Online Embassy Appointment System
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan has expanded its digital consular services for citizens residing abroad or temporarily staying in foreign countries.
Appointment bookings for embassies and consular offices can now be made through the unified government services portal my.gov.uz, eliminating the need for in-person visits and long waiting lines.
Previously, citizens were required to visit diplomatic missions and wait for service on site. The process has now been fully transitioned to an online format, significantly simplifying access to administrative procedures.
To book an appointment, users must log in to my.gov.uz and select the service “Embassy (Consulate) Appointment.”
They then choose the relevant consular district and the type of required service, followed by selecting a convenient date and time from the available schedule. Upon completion, an electronic appointment ticket is generated.
The service is provided free of charge.
Authorities emphasize that the introduction of the digital system is aimed at improving convenience for citizens and reducing administrative barriers in accessing consular services.
