Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan discuss amendments to border checkpoints agreement

The sides discussed the issues of introduction of amendments and additions to the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic of checkpoints across the state border from 24 July 2004.

As a result of talks the sides signed final protocol, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.

Within the framework negotiations, the Head of the Kyrgyz delegation, Ambassador at Large of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Batyrkan Syrgabaev has been received at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on bilateral cooperation.
