Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 21 December 2022, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhromjon Aloev met with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yermukhambet Konuspayev.

The parties discussed the current state and prospects for the development of relations between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.

It was noted with deep satisfaction that at the present stage, the Uzbek-Kazakh relations of good neighborliness and strategic partnership are being consistently strengthened in accordance with the agreements at the highest level.

Special attention was paid to the organizational and content aspects of the state visit of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan to our country that began today. It was emphasized that this event will contribute to the deepening of practical cooperation, the sustainable development of our states and the entire region.

The negotiations also considered the issues of the final international legal registration of the Uzbek-Kazakh State border.

The productive work of the Joint Uzbek-Kazakhstan Demarcation Commission and the importance of completing the demarcation of the border for strengthening good neighborly relations and deepening trade and economic ties between the countries were noted.

The meeting was held in a traditionally warm and friendly atmosphere.
