Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan discuss border demarcation

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - On 23-27 July 2018, the next round of Uzbekistan – Kazakhstan negotiations on demarcation of the State border between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Kazakhstan was held in Almaty, Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan said in a statement.

The delegations continued coordination of draft final documents of demarcation of Uzbekistan – Kazakhstan State border, considered the results of joint field surveys. The parties prepared a preliminary draft of the schedule of joint field surveys for the future.

The negotiations were held in a constructive, friendly atmosphere.

The next round of negotiations will be held in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
