Uzbekistan Joins Global Alliance to End Violence Against Children

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan has become the 46th country to join the Pathfinding Global Alliance on Ending Violence Against Children, marking an important step in protecting children’s rights and safety, according to the UNICEF Office in Uzbekistan.

The country’s accession to the alliance reflects significant progress, including the adoption of the Law on Protection of Children from All Forms of Violence in May 2025. An intersectoral strategy and action plan are also being developed to ensure the effective protection of every child.

UNICEF is partnering with the Government of Uzbekistan to implement these initiatives, aiming to provide children with a safe and supportive environment at home, at school, and in the community.
