Uzbekistan, Japan discuss bilateral ties

On 22 February 2017, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan Nobuaki Ito.
During the conversation the sides exchanged views on prospective directions of bilateral relations, the Uzbek Foreign Ministry said.
The special attention was paid to the Uzbek-Japanese interaction in cultural and humanitarian sphere in order to increasing the number of Japanese tourists visiting Uzbekistan.
