Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – On 27 May 2020, a telephone conversation took place between the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sherzod Asadov and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Italian Republic, Manlio Di Stefano, the Foreign Ministry said.

During the conversation, prospects for the development of bilateral relations in the political, trade, economic, investment, tourism, cultural and humanitarian and other fields were examined. Special attention was paid to cooperation within the UN and the Uzbekistan-EU format.

At the talks, the parties also discussed the schedule of Uzbek-Italian contacts planned for 2020 and joint events at the highest and highest levels.
