Uzbekistan issues over 131,530 visas to foreign citizens in January-June

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan issued more than 131,530 entry visas to foreign citizens in January-June 2018 against 123,360 visas in the same period of 2017.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, the consular and legal department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and consular offices for the first half of 2018 issued 16805 certificates for return to Uzbekistan.

Also 3117 biometric passports were issued, 6371 actions were carried out through the registry office, notariate and legalization, 7844 applications on citizenship issues (reception, withdrawal, loss and non-belonging) were accepted.

The largest number of consular actions was carried out by the embassies of Uzbekistan in Turkmenistan - 21,870, Tajikistan - 16,567, Russian Federation - 14,421, Kazakhstan - 14083 and China - 10,882.
