Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - A meeting was held at the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the State of Israel to the Republic of Uzbekistan E. Shapira.

During the talks, the parties discussed issues of developing bilateral economic cooperation and attracting Israeli investment in key sectors of Uzbekistan.

The sides discussed the issues of holding the upcoming Uzbek-Israeli business forum and bilateral meetings with members of the government and business circles of Israel in Tel Aviv in April 2020.

Within the framework of the business forum, it is planned to familiarize Israeli business circles with the reforms carried out in the Republic of Uzbekistan and the conditions created for foreign investors.

Agreements were reached on the participation of the heads of branch ministries and departments, as well as representatives of the private business of Uzbekistan in the field of healthcare, pharmaceuticals, agriculture and promising industries.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to intensify further cooperation in the framework of developing bilateral economic relations, as well as organizing upcoming joint events.
