Uzbekistan introduces two-level postgraduate education
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree “On further improving system of postgraduate education”.
In line with the decree, Uzbekistan introduces a two-level postgraduate education system from 1 July 2017.
From 1 July, Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and Doctor of Science will be introduced in Uzbekistan.
According to the decree, holders of Masters Degree can study for obtaining PhD level. After receiving PhD level, the person can study for the Doctor of Science.
