Uzbekistan introduces temporary ban for commercial fishing

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- State Committee of Uzbekistan on protection of nature introduced a ban for commercial fishing to rational use of fish resources at natural water reservoirs.

The committee said that the ban will be inforce in Amudary and Syrdarya rivers from 10 March to 31 May 2017.

The fishing will be banned at water reservoirs of Karakalpakstan and Khorezm region from 25 April to 10 June and other water reservoirs from 16 April to 31 May.

The committee said that sport and amateur fishing will be allows without motor boats and number of hooks should not exceed 5.
