Uzbekistan intends to organize production of Hyundai trucks and buses

President of the South Korean Evergreen Motors Kim Chang and chairman of the State Investment Committee of Uzbekistan Azim Ahmedkhodjayev signed a memorandum of understanding on the organization of mass production of Hyundai vehicles. The cost of the project is US$200 million.

Within the framework of the project, the parties intend to organize the production of small, medium and heavy vehicles, buses of city, intercity and tourist class, as well as special-purpose vehicles.

The parties do not plan to produce automobiles under the Hyundai brand.
