The Ministry of Justice of Uzbekistan published draft amendments to the CAO for discussion.

According to the document, the persons, visiting brothels for the purpose of satisfying the sexual needs, will be fined. The size of fine is equal to one size of minimal salary.

Also, in accordance with the amendments, an administrative court, along with a fine, can send persons to mandatory medical examination.

These people will have to undergo a medical examination for the presence of sexually transmitted diseases and, if they are identified, undergo in-patient treatment in specialized medical institutions.
