Uzbekistan-Indonesia: New horizons of cooperation and visa-free regime for diplomats
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 11 February, in Jakarta, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, held a meeting with Indonesia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sugiomo.
"On behalf of the Uzbek delegation, we express our gratitude to the Indonesian Foreign Ministry 🇮🇩 for the warm welcome. Our agenda today was extensive, covering all areas of cooperation and outlining new horizons. The main goal is to give our ties fresh momentum, strengthen relations, and bring our nations closer together. Our countries share a strong foundation, and we have much greater potential to unlock," Bakhtiyor Saidov noted on his Telegram channel.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides signed an Agreement on a Visa-Free Regime for Holders of Diplomatic Passports.
