Uzbekistan increases raw ethyl alcohol by 25.1% in Jan-Jun

According to the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan, production of edible alcohol grew by 32.2% to 1.306 million decaliters, technical alcohol – by 24.7% to 7,600 decaliters and rectified alcohol – by 15.5% to 220,000 decaliters.

In the reporting period, Uzbekistan produced 4.61 million decaliters (+6,2%) of vodka and alcoholic beverage products, 32,800 decaliters of cognac (up 2.6 times), 909,000 decaliters of wine (-17.4%). Production of Champaign comprised 26,800 decaliters (-1.3 times) and beer – 12.981 million decaliters (24,6%).
